Early childhood experiences are critical to the development of the skills, attitudes and confidence required to become an active participant in sport and recreation in later life.

Zero to five years

Help develop movement experiences for children under five with our Active Movement resources and videos.

Five to twelve years

The Kiwidex manual has fun, informal activities that develop the basic movement skills used in sport and other physical activities.

Our Developing Fundamental Movement Skills resource uses play and simple activities to get kids involved in games. With these concepts young people can move easily into modified sports and adult sports.
